Mellencamp concert was great. Did 12 tunes, took an intermission, came out & did 13 more. Audience dancing, singing. He debated whether to change his "Pink Houses" lyric from "vacation down at the gulf of Mexico" to "America" & ultimately chose to stick to original (whew).
going to see this guy in concert tonight with the family at Jones Beach. When I saw him at the same theater in 1992, it was the best personal concert experience I have ever had.
I watched the forgotten ASSIGNMENT: K directed by Val Guest, w/ Stephen Boyd, Michael Redgrave & Camilla Sparv. I went in knowing nothing, not even reading the back, just knew it was 60s spy stuff. I loved it. Would make a great double w/ Quiller Memorandum. Recommended.

Spaceballs wasn't good (wasn't hateful, just an EXTREMELY minor pleasure), and SDCC acting like it is doesn't change anything, damn it! I guess it's nice that Rick Moranis has come out of hibernation. He was the original lead in ANOTHER YOU w Bogdanovich, but wouldn't commit.
