As I’ve said often, I love Howie Rose, & I’ll miss him a ton. That said, Keith Raad has really hit his stride this season IMO. And the time on the road together has really helped Keith & Pat McCarthy gel. Plus we have our beloved Maj in the booth too! Mets listeners, our future is bright! 🙂 #Mets
Deeply embarrassing. We join the Rockies at the bottom of the barrel. Look at the near horizon. Soon it will be time to blow up this team that blew up last year’s team. 💣 The hardest part? It isn’t looking like we’ll be rooting for a winning team again any time soon. Sigh. 😑
Nice win! Still can’t hit with RISP, but I don’t care as much now. I’ve given up the ghost. I no longer dream of the post-season. Letting that hope go jettisons a lot of weight. There’s nothing left now but just enjoying the game & watching the good young players develop. A lighter baseball life.
I’m glad Mets fans aren’t paying too much attention to that Chavez interview. Whether he has a point or not, IMO his airing of family laundry to grind his axe is really poor form. I wouldn’t do that in business, & he shouldn’t in ⚾️. Esp since the Mets kept him on board despite terrible team hitting.
Sometimes I like to reflect before commenting. Re Mendy. For some fans, the solution is alway blood. Fire ‘em! Rarely is attention paid to what’s next - which is just as important. Mendy was sacrificed. Okay, what’s changed? Nothing so far. Lost a good ⚾️ man who will succeed elsewhere. Like Pete.
