This issue of Battle Action (25 Feb 78) I’m reading is brutal.

Racing The Forest Of Giant Steel

RIP #MichaelKeating 'the funny one' and my instantly favourite in Blake's 7 when I was a kid. Rewatching as an adult you see his ingenious performance bringing an edge of reality to things, his cleverness, and often being the conscience of the gang.

Time to give this a rinse. I only remember watching the final series on transmission so this will be all new to me. Having just watched Sapphire & Steel I’m really in the mood for some dark, talky 80s sci-fi. Hope it lives up to its reputation.

What a delight this was. A new print of the curate’s egg that is the TV movie with by a Q&A with Paul McGann (& surprise host @drmatthewsweet.bsky.social). McGann was charming and full of love for of the show. ‘Would he play the Doctor again on TV?’, of course he would and we’d love to see it too.

What’s happened this week? A new train station opened down the road. I can now get into the city in 15 mins. Saw Death on the Nile at the theatre and binged on Christie TV. Listened to a lot of Japan (reacquainting with the superb Oil on Canvas) and my divorce was finalised, which was nice.

One of the fun things about 'Project Hail Mary' is that there are parts of the soundtrack that resemble the music in the 1982 Moomins TV show.
