Being back in Philly has made me remember how SEGREGATED Chicago is. I don’t know if it’s just a product of where I find myself in each city, but Philadelphia feels like it’s populations are constantly mixing with each other in a way that doesn’t happen in Chicago.
My flight to Philadelphia had the worst turbulence I’ve ever experienced. Drinks flew into the air, babies started screaming and even the flight attendants got visibly shaken. Needless to say, this was not the best moment to be listening to “Death Will Bring Change” by Parquet Courts
