it’s not wednesday anymore and idk if or when I’ll write this fic so I’m not giving you guys context but I’ve been having really bad jikook brainrot and the fact I have this fic idea running laps in my brain doesn’t help so… have some angsty jikook

"You know, enlistment was the best worst time because you were with me," Jimin said quietly, sounding as exhausted as Jeongguk felt. "Everything was awful but you." Jeongguk reached out to tangle their fingers together. He didn't need to say the thing that was on both of their minds. Right now was the worst worst time and having each other did not feel like it made any difference. Not when there wasn't a light at the end of the tunnel anymore. "At least, we don't have to shave our heads again." Jeongguk wasn't sure the joke would land, but Jimin's face scrunched up and the sound he made was both a laugh and sob. How lucky he was to still hear Jimin laugh, even like this. Maybe they didn't need to reach the end of the tunnel to find some light.

yk i always have the utmost respect for fest mods because you have to pretty much wrestle some of the authors and in general it can be tough to keep everything organised.... but i draw the line at postponing reveals FOR THREE MONTHS without any communication with the writers who already submitted...

no one warned me that being an adult means having intense decision paralysis when it comes to grocery shopping to the point that i'm currently wondering if i should just get six more bags of pasta and some sauce ... if it weren't for the bunnies needing veggies i'm not sure i would even go to aldi
