I finished reading This Kingdom Will Not Kill Me by Ilona Andrews yesterday and I had a ton of fun with it despite it being uhhh somewhat generic maybe loll. A surprising amount of violence in this too which I don't mind. Did not care for the possessive moody shadow daddy love interest though. 4/5 ⭐

i don't like megaviral moments that are focused on individual animals like punchy and moo deng and that goddamn monkey etc i feel like it never ends well and sucks for the animals too
buying art supplies and then having the gall to use them is almost an impossible combination. either i never buy the tools i need to make the art i want to make or i hoard the supplies until the end of time
