Retrospectively I can see that *Bob the Builder* and *Pokémon* were both early expressions of a homegrown form of wage slavery that was beginning to shape and color Minnesotan life...
It really is forgotten how much of TV in the 70's and 80's were spinoffs and sequels and stuff like this (the third made for TV Gilligan's Island movie). Like no one remembers "Still the Beaver" that ran for years in the 80's.
