Ordered a pizza since no one felt like cooking. Fine by me. Ordered from a local place.

Went with family to visit the Dr. Seuss Museum (he’s from where I’m originally from). The inside is a mix of showcasing his work and biographical information such as family photos from the early 1900s, original art he drew, as well as his actual desk and some of his pencils. Good day.
Having some of my aunt’s spaghetti salad that she made for me, earlier today. Gave me two containers of it. It’ll be all eaten within a few days, knowing me.
Visiting family and we are now waiting to watch “The Odyssey”. Hopefully it won’t get too crowded. The seats being recliners is a nice touch.
Didn’t order loaves and fishes, but I’ll see what happens.
Seeing the videos people are posting of Rick Moranis getting a standing ovation and cheers at SDCC is heartwarming; especially seeing how surprised and moved he is by the reaction.
I used to find the “Star Trek: The Next Generation” episode “Darmok” a bit hard to believe (the one where an alien race speaks in metaphors). However, that was before a large part of my communication revolved around TV and movie references. Sideshow Bob, surrounded by rakes.
Someone I have the misfortune of knowing who is a privileged minimalist: “You have too many books, comics, pieces of art and dvds. I can have someone help you remove all of it to simplify your life.” Me: If anyone touches my stuff, there will be a podcast and Netflix special covering what I did.
Watching a random episode of “Law&Order” and see that Kevin Smith has a cameo. Never knew that.
Another wild Saturday night. Worked earlier, now having a late dinner and watching more of “Have Gun, Will Travel”.
Friday night. Time for some “Have Gun, Will Travel”. Watching disc 3 of season 2.
A man’s ex girlfriend walks into his bar, with her husband.
Don’t feel like doing much of anything, today. Kinda checked-out. Recharging, well trying to, today.
Trying to put this miserable week behind me and zoning out watching an episode of “Highlander”.
Been busy with work and such, limiting my time online. Anyways, for #WesternComicsMonth is my copy of “Thrilling Comics” #78 (Oct. 1950). Cover by Alex Schomburg.
For #WesternComicsMonth, from my collection is Western Crime Busters #7 from Trojan Magazines (Oct. 1951).

The organizers of HeroesCon sent out their weekly store email and included the dates for next year’s convention. So, I went ahead and made my hotel reservation and have that locked in. It’s a dichotomy: I’ll make reservations and plan ahead, but I also wait until the last possible moment to pack.
Was taking a break and looking at some listings on Heritage. Placed a few bids here and there, losing track of how many bids I placed. After seeing the total of what the max bids would be, I really hope I’m outbid on many of these listings.

Burritos for a late dinner and disc 2 of season 2 of “Have Gun, Will Travel”. Wild Saturday Night!
So, how much original art do I have? Not counting what I have framed and hanging on walls in my apartment, here are 3 waterproof cases (with wheels) that I repurposed to hold portfolios of various sizes, Mylar sleeves, sketchbooks, etc. Currently in my walk-in bedroom closet, standing up.
Been able to avoid spoilers. Now at a matinee screening for “Supergirl”. Have my usual movie snacks - Twizzlers and Reese’s Pieces - so I’m all set for when the movie starts. Though not going to enjoy sitting through all these ads that will playing on a loop, until the movie actually starts.
Keep seeing ads on IG about investing in Skybound Entertainment, presenting itself as akin to the WB and Disney catalogs. Not that I have the money, but doesn’t seem like something most investors would ever see a return on.
Was able to get my work in to end the quarter on a positive note and won’t have to work this weekend. Will try to spend the next few days trying to get ahead for next quarter. For now, having a celebratory burrito for dinner and find something to stream to zone out for a bit. Good times.
