I saw the usual Texas Spiny Lizard, recognized because the scales have molted off the end of his tail. I later saw 2 lizards on the tree, and neither of them are missing scales on their tales, so I guess we have at least 3 of these in the yard. #lizard
The House Sparrows have started descending in a large flock to hang out for a while. There are a lot of young ones. I count 7 in this photo. #birds
The Eastern Cottontail was out in the yard again this morning. It appears that something removed a chunk out of his left leg at some time. #rabbit
I was on my way to fill the bird feeders this morning when I saw the Eastern Cottontail rabbit again. #rabbit
