9,455 votes for Count Binface. 22,239 votes for Farage. Let the Commons’ investigation of Farage resume. Clacton gets the POS MP it so clearly deserves. Farage himself is nowhere to be seen, having lied about a police warning not to attend. Something of a moral victory for the Bin, I reckon.

Watching the news about universities, clearing, and results day and tbh it is just all bollocks. Not to say lots of people dont get a lot out of it, but it is a badly fucked-up system and being cheery and positive about it is galling.

#birdOfTheDay Sorry to misuse the tag, but I've just wondered if people had any insights here. The bird has now disappeared, but in case it reappears. I am thinking a fledgling magpie. It was flying into vehicles and windows and another magpie was flapping around, even trying to lift it.

Just picked up a bound copy of National Geographic Magazine from the first half of 1939 & there are 2 bird-related articles in it. This second is about taking colour pictures of #birds. I might copy & upload it. Anyone interested? The first includes paintings of Sparrows, Towheez, and Longspurs.

I'm old enough to remember when polio put my friends into iron lungs. We dutifully lined up at school to get vaccinated. We eradicated the disease. We protected the common good and saved lives. What RFK Jr. is doing to public health in America is a disgrace.
