Been waiting for this. Absolutely stoked to read Sublimation by Isabel J. Kim. I think it's safe to say the whole industry has been holding their breath for this debut.

And so ends my first month of querying my final draft manuscript! Going to take the week off next week to revisit my materials, shore some things up. So far I've sent one query per week day. I'm in no rush. I'm going to get this right. #WritingJourney

So why do we capitalize comp titles in query letters? Is it just to emphasize something essential the agents are looking for to pitch this? It seems sort of arbitrary but I'd hate to think my first few queries got rejected because I seemed like a noob for italicizing instead of capitalizing.

#WritingCommunity! How long should the synopsis be that I send to agents with my query letter? My second draft is 800 words, but some advice I've seen recommends 300-500. Is it time for a third draft?
