Hey! I'm happy to share that I'll be starting a PhD in Theoretical Computer Science at Princeton University in September. There are so many exciting people doing exciting research there, it'll be fun.

I recently published the LaTeX notes I took in two great classes last semester: - Information theory and coding (Prof. Emre Telatar) - Introduction to quantum cryptography (Prof. Thomas Vidick) I can definitely recommend both classes to any EPFL student. Link below 👇

Two-pannel Overwatch Mercy meme.
Top panel: a young girl sitting in a car looking worried and confused, with the caption "Doing optimal data compression without knowing the source distribution".
Bottom panel: a glowing angelic character with wings (Mercy from Overwatch), with the caption "Lempel-Ziv algorithm"

I received a medal from EPFL's IC student association CLIC for the LaTeX notes I shared throughout my studies. I am getting close to the end of my undergrad and hence probably to the end of my note-taking. It's a really nice way to close this chapter. Thank you all :) (📸 @mlmo.bw on Instagram)

My first paper was published on the ArXiv! I'm so proud to be co-first authoring it. It was a lot of fun to come up with this proof during my 8-week internship at Algorithmiq this summer. This might not be all I did during this internship, stay tuned! ;)

Credit to these new guarantees go to the brilliant @joachimfavre.bsky.social (who did this during his summer project at Algorithmiq and, fyi / hint hint, is currently looking for a PhD). Check out the new version here: arxiv.org/abs/2503.18939

I just finished an industry internship at Algorithmiq in Helsinki, where I worked on the simulation of Fermionic systems using a classical approach: Majorana propagation. With some chance, some of the results I proved will be published. Stay tuned! :)

Four-pannel Gru meme.
First pannel: Gru is invested, "Go to Finland, dodging the heat waves".
Second pannel: Gru is invested, "Come back when it starts to get cold".
Third pannel: Gru is invested, "Switzerland is just as cold".
Fourth pannel: Gru is disappointed, "Switzerland is just as cold".
