I’ve known about Secrid wallets for a while, and always thought they were quite cool, but I never knew they also provide so many career opportunities for disabled people in their production processes. You can read more about it here secrid.com/en-de/storie... #valuingcapabilities #accessibility

Digital Experience and Design. I like books (SFF), games (board, tabletop & video), music, guitar, cycling, weights and, occasionally, photography. Live in Edinburgh, Scotland.
I absolutely love Living Streets in Edinburgh this month and wish we could have it permanently. Couple of things though… closed streets need to be signposted further in advance and cars who come on to the closed street anyway should be heavily penalised. Way too many cars on the Cowgate today
Given how the Johnson and Truss period showed how vulnerable a system based on precedent and convention is in the face of bad actors, a written constitution can only be a good thing. Good luck actually making it happen though.
Devolution plans strengthen case for written UK constitution, says Burnham
Someone posted the Ting Thai Caravan green curry recipe on Edinburgh Reddit the other day. I made it tonight and it was absolutely phenomenal. Hands down the best Thai curry I’ve made at home - I’d have been happy to eat it in a restaurant.
Saw The Odyssey last night and absolutely loved it. Astonishingly good for a big Hollywood summer movie.
Pretty sure the world doesn’t need a Christmas Carol prequel but here we are I guess
First poster for ‘EBENEZER’, a new film based on ‘A Christmas Carol’ starring Johnny Depp. “Before he was Scrooge, he was Ebenezer”
Without saying your age, what's your favourite movie that came out when you were 18?

We took a trip out to Howth today on the last day of this summer’s Ireland holiday. Back to Edinburgh tomorrow.
The Princes Street and Salisbury Crags are combining to put strain on the city. Maybe there needs to be a message to the public: please walk, cycle or use public transport if you can so the transport network and emergency services can do the best they can for the city. @edinburghminute.com
Holyrood Park: fire service to remain 'for a couple days'. Current exclusion zone includes Queens Drive and path to Dumbiedykes and Holyrood Gait. It's possible to access Holyrood Rd through the parliament grounds. Roads still busy with lots of cars turning around #EdTravCyc

I was pretty much forced by my parents into a summer fruit picking job in Ireland aged 14. It was fucking bleak and the pay was dreadful. Pickers were supervised by older teenagers who were drunk on power and would regularly take full punnets for themselves and collect the cash.
what are some absurd work situations you can share? once i got called into a meeting i had nothing to do with because the consultant brought an engineer and no one in the room could understand him, so they asked me to translate. he was scouse. i translated from english to english.

Doing a bit of a clear out of stuff that’s been in my childhood room since forever and came across this PS1 OPSM demo disc from 1999. Wip3out, FFVIII, Point Blank 2, Um Jammer Lammy.
This is astonishingly tone deaf after laying off thousands of staff within the last week or so, with more job losses to come. Also, Fallout 4 was wank.
Todd Howard has delivered a huge update on the furture of Fallout, including updates on Fallout 5, confirmation of Fallout 3 and New Vegas remasters, a new Fallout 76 expansion, and more https://kotaku.com/fallout-5-is-in-preproduction-and-fallout-3-and-new-vegas-remasters-are-on-the-way-2000717079
As a Spurs fan, the Red Djed Redemption has been a beautiful thing to behold
We lost, but still, give Djed Spence a knighthood
I never expected to see Paraguay vs Paraguay in a World Cup semi-final
Remember Streeting's review into whether young people are being overdiagnosed with ADHD, autism, and mental health issues? Well, the interim report is out, and there's a reason the media are silent on it (spoiler: it proves what a lot of us have been saying all along)
This is crazy pricing for a GameCube, right? I’m pretty sure I have two of them in the attic #CeXWatch
Saw this absolute chad on the drive to Edinburgh Airport today (Photo taken by wife from the passenger seat)
I’m very strongly leaning toward getting a Switch 2 before the price increase. What games are good? I’m currently thinking Donkey Kong Bananza, Star Fox, Indiana Jones if I can overcome my 60FPS snobbery. Metroid Prime 4 is an avoid, right?
The cycle to work is about to get a lot more pleasant for a few weeks
With the busy festival season fast approaching, we're reintroducing our Summertime Streets programme to make our city centre streets easier and safer to get around. These changes will be in place from July 19 to September 7.
This is such comedic levels of shithousery from Paraguay that it’s almost artful
The reason there are no more good ideas in tech is that every office has these "low odor" whiteboard markers. Ten years ago, every Design Thinking session participant was way more creative because they were strung out on marker fumes.
When that thing you’ve been putting off for a month because it seems like a massive task actually takes 15 minutes 🤦♀️
The kids didn’t wake me up until 7.20am this morning. Absolutely glorious start to Father’s Day.
