Day one of California Cube Champs off to a great start! #mtgcube

If anyone else wants to join @goblingathering.bsky.social , @mattbelcher.bsky.social and I tomorrow, we will be drafting my Charity cube on mtgo on the cubecon server! I'm quite excited about it and we have 5 people signed up now, so I'm just trying to lock in 1 more cubecobra.com/cube/list/Ch...

Cube Cobra List: Charity

All cards given to me, intended to be a simpler cube to grow my group. Built on Valentine's Day 2026, I made a podcast about it also.

I am buzzing with excitement this morning. We're streaming the most interesting and experimental cube event ever run, Cube for a Cause: Obscura. The 17 cubes on offer were all designed in secret, specifically for this event, and none of the ~128 players have any idea what cards they contain.

You know where the cost of a cube draft is NOT too high? With your local group meeting weekly! I've got a group in Santa Rosa that meets every Tuesday at my house at 6:00, Dm for more info. Also groups in SF, East bay and the Peninsula! #mtgcube But you gotta be cool with me playing red every week

The price to play Cube Drafts in MTG Arena is too high.

Had 20 people tonight for #mtgcube , featured two new cubes for the first time, and ran back my Library Cube which definitely needs some changes & help. Ran a little low on food, was able to supplement that a bit with some ice cream and popsicles, and after 1 person left, played bo1 for a 2-1 & 4-0

Hey there #mtgcube friends! There's been a proliferation of wonderful cube events across the world in the last few years, and I definitely encourage you to check if there's one near you with the lucky paper events page. If you are in the western third of the US, join us at Cali Cube Champs!

For my 30th birthday, I hosted 23 people at my house, we ran three of my cubes, and I ran around and played in all three at the same time. (Bo1 for max opponents) Went 2-1 in Charity, 2-4 in Fantasy, and 8-1 in Anarchy, with boros aggro in all of them, vs a total of 18 different people 🤣 #mtgcube

Hey #mtgcube, Midwinter, by @deinonychus9.bsky.social is gonna be drafted on the @cubecon.org server tonight in about 10.5 hours from now, and we need about 3 more drafters! Please join us on discord to draft it for FREE on mtgo with @mattbelcher.bsky.social tonight! cubecobra.com/cube/about/m...

Cube Cobra: Midwinter

Midwinter is a snow desert cube that expands upon many game play and aesthetic themes present in the Kaldheim, and to a lesser extent, the Arthurian themes of Eldraine

Happy pride month to everyone, especially my lovely husband! Shout out to the commanders from my first magic deck I bought who subtly foreshadowed that perhaps "getting into magic with my girlfriend" would end up a lot queerer than I anticipated 😂 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Doing a roto draft of @hardcasting.bsky.social 's saga cube with some other bay area folks. Thoughts on the decks so far?

Only one more day until @hardcasting.bsky.social 's awesome SF Cube Clash, then 8 days until @wacubechamps.bsky.social ! Tournament time for me in the #mtgcube world! I'm quite excited for the cubing, seeing friends, and hoping to get even higher on the Hedron Network leaderboards!

Happy Frances Perkins feast day (Episcopal Church calendar, May 13)! Witness to the Triangle Shirtwaist fire, later FDR’s Labor Secretary; she wrote the Social Security Act in her church’s rectory kitchen. She pushed to admit Jewish refugees. Known as FDR’s conscience and author of the New Deal. ⚓️

Draftjng this cube in about 4 hours on mtgo with the usual @mattbelcher.bsky.social and friends #mtgcube group on mtgo, in prep for Washington Cube Champs in just 17 days! Anyone here want to join us? We have 4 players currently signed up cubecobra.com/cube/list/cl... discord.gg/hF5nhMHXV

All of the other places I'd post this already had someone post it so I guess bluesky gets it now haha #Episcopal

For Lent this year, I gave up drafting red in #mtgcube. It sounds like a joke, but it was actually a pretty cool experience that I talked about on my podcast here: creators.spotify.com/pod/profile/... (Also Cali Cube Champs 2026 is officially happening October 3rd and 4th)

Hey #mtgcube friends! Has @domrikade.bsky.social amazing interview with the creator of the first desert cube inspired you? Are you looking forward to @chicagostylecu.be this Saturday? Come play a Bant desert cube with us online via draftmancer + mtgo in an hour on the cubecon server!

Updated Hedron Network leaderboards are looking pretty sweet hedron.network/leaderboard

Inside me there are at least two different Hedron rankings haha (Re-uploaded with redacted emails so no one steals my email/ Gwen can't fix it)

#mtgcube people, can I get 1-3 drafters to fill out a pod of #100ornithopters on mtgo with @mattbelcher.bsky.social and I in the next 5-10 minutes?

If you live in the East Coast, I'd definitely recommend this!

BOSTON CUBE PARTY THREE TICKETS ARE LIVE!!!!! Last year we sold out twice--this year we're only doing it once, so don't wait to buy your ticket! There aren't previews of playmat art yet, but @gnarlyghost.bsky.social is cooking up something truly special, trust. www.eventbrite.com/e/boston-cub...

One of my favorite podcasts with one of my favorite cube curators! I've played 200 different cubes in paper, and Aqua's is the most played and enjoyed one from me that's not my own or a local who cubes with me every week haha

Kade Goforth@domrikade.bsky.social · 7mo ago

This week, @aquaone.bsky.social gives us a tour of aquaone powered, a heavily-customized powered cube. We chat about art and alters, creating novel experiences, and not-quite-power-maxing. Be sure to check out the visual spoiler of the cube! Thanks for inspiring the community, aqua.

Live paper cube coverage all weekend? I know I'm gonna be in the chat a bunch

We’re going live now! www.twitch.tv/luckypapermtg We’re raising money for Make the Road New York, and yes, we are programming against the Olympic Games

Yo #mtgcube people! We have 5 players for a draft starting on mtgo in 20 minutes of a super cool semi desert cube, and I need 1-3 more volunteers!

If you haven't seen this already, Tolarian Community College and a TON of other people in the magic community are raising money as they do every year for one of the most effective charities for one of the most persecuted groups in the modern world. Help out! give.translifeline.org/campaign/765...

I don't think I know many people who spend more time thinking and writing deliberately about a single cube than my dear buddy @deinonychus9.bsky.social. This article of his he's worked on for a year, and I highly recommend it. At my California event he mentions, this cube was the number one pick!

Deinonychus@deinonychus9.bsky.social · 11mo ago

I am really fortunate that Bodleian Cube gets to be featured in many cube events. I have compiled and analyzed the data from the 2024 events and wrote about what I decided to do with that data. I hope it gives curators ideas about using their event draft data too. cubecobra.com/content/arti...

The Chicago cubers were so welcoming to me when I visited there this spring! If you are able to come to this, I'd highly recommend it!

Chicago-Style Cube Event@chicagostylecu.be · 12mo ago

You've cubed in Madison. You've cubed in New York. You've cubed in DC. Now it's time to cube slightly outside of Chicago.

We didn't get Salt n Pauper onto MTGO, but a different West Coast cuber has his enchantments cube up for a vote this week! Let's try and get Rory's enchantments cube online- I played with him in the top 8 of Seattle, and It's quite popular in the Portland cube scene! docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F...
