Another piece I painted for Magic: The Gathering - Star Trek, Marooned! This was a particularly fun piece to work on for several reasons, but especially because I was given the artistic freedom to choose which type of environmental suits to depict from across the different -

Daemon Targaryen! Painted when the second season of House of the Dragon came out in 2024. Very fond of the ongoing third season and the creative choices the showmakers made, and looking forward to seeing the season finale next week!
Greta! A central character portrait painted for the upcoming game Geneforge 3 by Spiderweb Software, currently on Kickstarter. Been a fan of their games ever since I was a kid and I am overjoyed to be able to contribute to this IP
And here’s the second Magic: The Gathering card revealed last week during the official stream Trelane, Squire of Gothos, created for the upcoming Star Trek set. Featuring the ever-stylish Q performing at a grand piano aboard a starship, this piece was an absolute joy to work on-
Just wrapped up my first Magiccon! I was only able to come on friday but had a great time nonetheless. I connected with fellow MTG artists, art directors, friends and enthousiasts, meeting many of them for the first time and having great, inspiring conversations. -
My first Magic: The Gathering card has been revealed! Highly Illogical: Created for the upcoming Star Trek set, this piece features an astonished Spock, witnessing the White Rabbit on the Shore Leave planet. Created back in 2024, it was an incredibly fun assignment -
A photo with the designers at the release of Clash of Princes, the companion game I illustrated to the current musical about the life of Willem the Silent and the Eighty Years' War here in the Netherlands. The launch was a fantastic experience! -

I'll be attending MagicCon Amsterdam in two weeks! I'll mostly be hanging out in the Artist Alley as a visitor with fellow MTG artists, and I might even squeeze in a game or two of Commander If you'd like to meet up, let me know which day and I would love to say hi!
It has been around 2 years ago since ImagineFX Magazine reached out to me for an interview about the Dune series I worked on back then. Had the pleasure to contribute a few times before to their releases and the editorial team is very kind to work with!
Watched OBSESSION yesterday, and I was amazed (and horrified) by the experience! On a budget of 700K, the movie made 350 million, and I immediately understand why; The lead actress (Inde Navarette) gave one of the best performances I have ever seen in a horror movie-

Just finished this private commission for a returning client, an ancient relic from the time of Atlantis. I usually paint portraits for them, so it was a refreshing change of pace to work from a landscape/environment brief this time.
Can't believe this piece is more than 10 years old already! I made this interpretation of the Green Knight in 2016 when doing a mentorship, and I learned a tremendous amount about fundamentals and the importance of reference usage. Very grateful for the experience!
Happy to share this painting of a Turkic warrior, created seven years ago! This piece went through multiple iterations and became my first serious attempt at building a portfolio piece when I was trying to get noticed by Wizards of the Coast to make art for Magic the Gathering-

Saddened by the passing of John Blanche, who stood as the pillar of the grimdark aesthetic of the Warhammer universes, and has been an inspiration for me since my childhood. Initially as a collector and a fan of the IP, which later planted the seeds for my love for character design.
Received this lovely gift today from the SIXMOREVODKA team! This is a drawing by Marko Djurdjevic from 2005, which he created for the very first edition of DEGENESIS . As a fan of Marko's work and Degenesis it was an honor to receive this drawing of the Psychonauts. 1/2
Painting I made five years ago! At the time, my goal was to push my use of color, since my work had been much more monochromatic. I experimented with complementary hues, along with a more daring approach to composition and shape language.
Another piece I painted for Prinsenslag (Clash of Princes), the companion game to the current musical about the life of William of Orange and the Eighty Years' War here in the Netherlands. I’m very happy to have been invited by the team at Bazaar of Magic to create artwork for the card game accompanying the new Willem van Oranje (William the Silent) musical here in the Netherlands! It is currently the largest musical in the country and already a great success 1/-
Here’s a painting I made for the Isfet miniature board game back in 2023; Queen Hatshepsut! Often seen as one of the wisest rulers of ancient Egypt, known for her vision and incredible building projects. Some stories even say she inspired the creation of the Great Sphinx!
