I remember seeing Grayson Rodriguez throw eight shutout innings and match a career high in strikeouts against the Rays to bring our magic number to 1 in 2023, in what i think was his final home start before the playoff disaster. I miss that version of him. We saw so little of him but it was there.

I think if you believe a team can make the playoffs, you should support them and make them stronger, not tear them down and make their competitors stronger instead. I'm not telling you anything you don't already know but this is such brazen dishonesty and lack of accountability.

Mike Elias spoke to team earlier. Told them he believes they can make playoffs. Roster wasn’t gutted. Tough decisions have to be made. Etc #orioles

What are we to think of Enrique Bradfield Jr., who is playing to a .650 OPS in Triple-A this season and was just passed over for a fourth-round pick who is two years older than him, and who another rebuilding team gave away to the Orioles for free?

The pain I think I'm having the hardest time getting past: Nobody tried to lie to us in 2018 about Manny after that season started to go off the rails. Nobody lied to us about Cedric. Mike said he wanted Adley here forever. And then he didn't.

The Corbin Burnes trade notwithstanding, the defining philosophy of the Mike Elias era is that competing for a World Series the next year is subordinate to competing for a World Series three years from now. Through seven years, it seems like that's a really good strategy to win zero World Series.

Mike traded to two teams in the East and two of the three teams ahead of us on the outside of the wild card. It's not conspiratorial to accuse him of sabotage. It's objective fact.

That scene at the end of ZODIAC where Jake Gyllenhaal goes to the hardware store and stares at John Carroll Lynch, that's the most polite and civil interaction Mike Elias should be afforded with any human being in Baltimore until the end of time.

John Carroll Lynch, Ace Hardware associate, was the zodiac killer all along
