A truly sweet moment... At the ice cream stand last night after dinner (I just went along, nothing for me) a youngster was walking away with a triple cone. She looked at it, then gave out with a delighted chortle that broke up everyone standing in line.
At the Karma Cafe, the meal always ends with just desserts...

I remember watching the first moon landing with my family on July 20, 1969. I was 11, just about to turn 12. We gathered around the Sylvania entertainment center for a show that was truly out of this world. 1/3
My overnight flight last night featured... Passenger request to change seats. Crying babies. Seat kicking. Manspreading (not me). Dealt with each as kindly as I could, but directly. Worked okay, except for the crying babies, bless them. But, that is what earplugs are for. Still, flying is a marvel.
A kind soul is driving me and a friend from Nimble Fingers in Sorrento to the airport in Kelowna, B.C. We have the SiriusXM Bluegrass Channel on the radio. A good day.

All of the judges for campsite contests at Nimble Fingers are asked to go in costume. A lot of my mother's family are redheads, so this felt pretty natural.
I already spent my time being sad about Lindsey Graham when he turned orange after 2016. But, condolences to his family.
Waiting for my ride to Nimble Fingers music camp in the very cool (and surprisingly private) observation area at the Kelowna, B.C., airport. Had a nap, and then watched planes take off and land. A good, lazy afternoon.
