No evidence that long-tailed tits adjust the size of their eggs based on social or environmental conditions, even when food availability is experimentally altered. Instead, egg size seems to be an inherent characteristic of individual females: doi.org/10.1093/jeb/... @joeybaxter.bsky.social et al.
