What app are you using when you want to remotely control a different mac? I use apple's Screen sharing. I don't like everything about it but it works pretty well.

if you are using DNS via virtualisation, for example Pihole via a VM on your NAS, its not the smartest move to setup the DNS of the host to the instance. Updates WILL break. Don't ask how I know 😅.
I have a @coolify.io question, perhaps someone knows: I have ARM and AMD/x64 servers. I also have one ARM server as build server and one x64 as build server. Would coolify be able to properly identify the best usable buildserver, matching the proper cpu architecture?
Reading and trying out docs.mistral.ai/getting-star... was a bad experience. Both the page and the AI created a Flask app that uses port 5000. That is a known port used by MacOS, the default port of Flask changed to 5001 in '22 or '23 maybe. Its i tiny detail with great impact for newcomers imo...

I do find it cringe that new Nextcloud Hub releases are presented with much media attention and "update today" talk but apps are not compatible with the new release every-single-time. And yes, it involves a lot of community work for it to happen BUT, to me, it doesn't add up with the noise made...
Yesterday @directus.io v12 was finally released. It has some real nice quality of life improvements, the overall look and feel of the studio is improved for the better imo. The release also marks the first release under the new MSCL (their license). Interesting to see how this will pan out!

More Basecamp v5 release spam 😅. I just find it awesome the way the team handled the release of the new version on the web and also, at the same time, the release and availability of the apps (both desktop and mobile. Perfectly timed!

So, good to know if you want to migrate repositories from Gitlab to Forgejo (probably codeberg.org as wel) you cannot use the "Fine-grained token". You'll have to use the "Legacy token". #tip #forgejo

The Fitbit app has finally transformed into the “Google health” app (sarcasm mode!). Not sure if it’s just getting used to it or not but I am not liking it so far. For instance i want to completely turn of coach and coach features like chat. I don’t want ai in this app. Seems impossible to do so..

I have a Laravel related question/concern, perhaps someone knows… What’s the deal with the absolute paths in al the config generated by/for boost? I see multiple mcp.json or config.toml files that have absolute paths.
Played a bit more with Forgejo, specifically the forgejo-runners.. impressed with the way I can scale the runners automatically with the use of KEDA! This saves resources on my local cluster..!
Forgejo and Gitea, very decent self hostable alternatives for your git projects! Love it. Pretty identical obviously. Slight preference toward forgejo. Only issue so far is with incoming email. It relies on a case sensitive email address but clients tend to normalize the address (lowercase it).
Happy with my self hosted Gitea instance (k8s installation). Now going to see what I think of Forgejo as well.
