I'm sure Dune Part One is fine but trying to watch that on a plane ride was the *incorrect buzzer* of a choice. I also kept getting distracted (positive) by the passenger one row ahead watching John Wick with subtitles.
Back home and had a short nap but somehow still up when the sun rises. Very thankful to take the next couple of days off at least.
Japan Airlines served me a hotdog going into Japan. American served me udon noodles going into America. Just needed to note that somewhere.

Logged into work email because there was talk about their new initiative. Lots of buzzwords but the the biggest ones are "run lean" to me. Also there's a 15 minute mandatory meeting set for the first week I am back for all tech. Guess I am doing some extra planning when I am stateside.

Outside of Tatakai Tuesday and playing some ranked online in Tekken, I didn't get to be as much of an arcade rat. I hung out in HEY for a bit (can't take photos but very cool) and won matches with my Manon in SF6 and soaked it in. If there is a next time, I'd like to spend more time arcade hopping!
I am glad I bought new shoes that I broke in before this trip. I regret not buying two pairs to alternate days on because mannnnnn my feet hate me fiercely. (Most amount of steps in a day was 22k, twice.)
I think a strong thing I have learned anew from this trip has been being not on social media is awesome and I think I'm going to try to keep that up where I can. I am way happier not worrying about words from the internet. So easy to fall into the habit when there is nothing going on though.
It is honestly kind of funny to take a vacation somewhere that has nearly the same exact climate as you have back home (hot, humid, nearly same temps actually) Do miss seeing the green and mountains though. If there's a next time here I'd like to see more countryside.
Haven't been able to catch up on Twilumina news yet so if anyone has a handy summary I would appreciate it!

As you go higher in some stores in Akihabara the voice actor samples also go higher, as if responding to the altitude itself, daring to reach the sun. Then, suddenly... Silence. Gotcha Purgatorio. Cardboard standees. Peace. Its also heavily features gacha big boobed ladies but it is a silent one!

Ran across a box of 110 yen Tenchi laserdiscs in the middle of outside Akihabara and I almost bought them out of sheer absolute curiosity of how fucked up they must be.
Having a blast but I think I wish to cut off my feet instead of feeling the current pain.
The Unicorn Gundam is set to be decommissioned in August so we had to pay our respects (by making sure we buy merch at the gundam base inside! I bought a Guntank standee!)

Went to Tatakai Tuesday since we were in Nakano and played some casuals plus the single elim tourneys for Tekken/Sam Sho. Got a win on stream in Tekken (international wins babyyy.) and got outplayed in the end at Sam Sho. But had fun and felt good for not having done any prep in the slightest lol

I found a Tokyo. There was a shrine/mikoshi festival out on the first day for the weekend and it was good vibes all around. Probably will be radio silent for a bit but having a good time!

Lol im getting less than 10 fps on that Tokon beta on a computer thay handles Strive wonderfully. Was kind of hoping to get some training mode mid flight but lollllllllll
Well, that was the fastest top 8 I've ever commentated LOL Hopped in to substitute for someone for Paragon's GGST Top 8, do exactly ONE match of play and then the servers go for the rare, if ever seen Wednesday maintenance. I had fun though! It was a good match!
