World’s first purpose built amphibious crew-transfer vessel CRC Walrus at Scroby Sands. Built for RWE and operated by Commercial Rib Charter, the 12m craft carries 10 technicians, 2 crew and 1,000kg of cargo, driving across exposed sandbanks to reach otherwise inaccessible turbines. #ScrobySands

Around 480 seals hauled out on Scroby Sands at low tide. Both grey and smaller harbour seals use the sandbank. Harbour seals declined during wind-farm construction, while grey seals increased, but no single cause was proved. No significant long-term effect was found. #Norfolk #Seals
