It's pronounced "scones" Thank you so very much Bill. I've been randomly watching episodes the last couple of weeks for no apparent reason.
Next Goodies episode I decided to randomly watch was "bunfight at the ok tea rooms" which features the iconic running gag of "scone" pronunciation.
Rang the car repairer today to organise an insurance repair. I spoke to a very Australian sounding woman. About fifteen seconds in I realised I was talking to an AI agent. Didn't end up talking to a human. Scary shit, because initially I thought I was talking to someone, and it responded well.
I just finished watering my flourishing tomato plant and noticed a big healthy bee buzzing from flower to flower. Took the moment to just stand there and watch her go about her day. That is all. 😊
