Just like my purpose on the planet, I’m here to have fun. And express myself with photos.
Truly, the definition of unconditional love. He doesn’t care if my hair is messed up or I said a mean thing or I wake up a little grouchy. He’s responsive to my sadness. He doesn’t live as long as we do, but while he’s here on this planet, he gives me all his love. A dog a true gift from God.
Like life constantly blind sided with change my unsuspecting walk hit me with a good surprise this time. My first capture of a sanderling puts my sorrows aside #birds
Using the dreaded indoor time with all the wildfire smoke outside to tie some steelhead flies for the fall fly fishing season and give bird watching a little break . #flyfishing #birds
I know I could have spent my morning more responsibly, but I chose to play in the woods instead. I rushed out before I could change my mind and found myself laughing alongside a pileated woodpecker and a young orchard oriole #birds
Great day on the river with Lake Erie run steelhead #flyfishing #birds #flytying
The Horned Lark wintering locally is a treat this year. He seems to have a hint of Springtime in his eye, however. #Birds #Birdwatching
As I walk back to the car, I stop in my snowy tracks to listen to this guy. The White-breasted Nuthatch is racing through the small trees, enjoying the sunshine. #Birds #Wildlifephotography #Birdwatching
Twelve Degrees Fahrenheit and bright sunshine made for a great day to walk a frozen creek here in Ohio. My walk looking for a Barred Owl I often see along the creek must have been off sleeping somewhere yet this Robin was happy to join me in my stroll. #birds #springtime #wildlife #birdphotography
