I had Life is Strange muted so nobody spoiled the two games I hadn't played and I just unmuted it now I've played them and I find out there's a Life is Strange tv show coming out. This is 10/10 John news.

"Can I play the latest game in the series without playing the others?" is so corny. "Oooh new shiny me wanty." No. You will play all 18 previous titles in the series or you won't play the new one at all. Don't try and have unearned fun. Not on my watch.

Announcing a game for four years from now is somehow even worse than announcing a game with no date, and then it coming out four years later.

I know there's a lot of armchair quarterbacking in a lot of fields and it's often right to dismiss it. But I firmly believe if you picked pretty much anyone - me, you, one of my cats, anyone - and put them in charge of PlayStation we could do a better job.

It's my birthday and Lauren decorated the room and got me loads of stuff and so I am the birthday king.

You've got to admire PlayStation's commitment to the bit. They're really giving it their all at being the absolute worst console manufacturer.

One thing I hate is when in a movie or whatever someone has to sacrifice some blood for some reason, and they slash their palm. They always do the palm. Why would you choose the palm? Why not the back of your hand? Seems wildly unnecessary and I judge any character that does it harshly.

Once the Final Fantasy VII remake project is mercifully over we can go back to begging Square Enix to remake Final Fantasy VII properly for the next 20 years.

Oh I didn't realise State of Play was on earlier than normal. Missed half of it. Just looked up what I missed. Okay then.
