'Legacy: the Creedence Clearwater Revival Years' Out Now

“Green River” live on the Colbert Late Show. John’s third studio CCR album ‘Green River’ was released this week in 1969. It was the second of three albums released that year preceded by Bayou Country and followed by Willy and the Poor Boys later in October.

A look back at a special studio moment. While recording his 2013 album Wrote A Song For Everyone, John teamed up with Bob Seger to reimagine “Who’ll Stop the Rain,” a song John wrote in 1970. More than four decades later, its message and melody remained as timeless as ever.
