The United States used to be OK at strategy and strong with brute force. Now we’re neither. The amount of waste involved in the “brute force” approach to AI is pure folly. Advances in computer science have always come from ingenuity and economy. These jillion dollar data centers are ridiculous.

This isn’t the slam dunk Democrats think it is. I know Republicans. They have no pride nor dignity. They’re not humiliated in the least to vote for an election denier, a con man, a liar, a racist, a rapist and a felon. “Character counts,” they say. And this is their character. It defines them.
