THREAD: Viral misinformation on US capture of Nicolas Maduro - 4 January This video, shared by Alex Jones and others, falsely claims to show millions of Venezuelans in Caracas celebrating Maduro's capture. In fact, it shows anti-Maduro protests in July 2024 over a highly disputed election.

This is the airbase in which VIP/gov't flights would have departed from. It is generally host to the Presidential transport (A319CJ 0001) and a bunch of mil/gov't private jets, liaison planes and helicopters.

This is potentially significant. POV10.42651, -66.88582 ID'd by Twitter acct @john_marquee has smoke in the direction of a base that include a number of military academies as well as the General Command of the Army, Strategic Operational Command, and the Ministry of the People's Power for Defense.
