An endemic problem with American capitalism is how the vast majority of large investors and C-suite managers are incapable of envisioning any business model other than "I have an unregulated monopoly with low labor costs." When these plans fail, they have no idea what to do but cut labor costs more.

Studios chose to create it because Wall St told them it would be easy $. Now they say they can't afford to pay writers & actors more. Bitch you fucked up, you take the hit
