Hey turns out Human Head's 2006 Prey is a great game! Really inventive FPS level, puzzle, encounters and weapon design. I was legit hyped for Prey 2 solely based on just those gameplay reveals but this original game deserves to be remembered

I've gotten further into my Metroid Prime 2 replay since @bghof.com Casual Monday show and done more dark world stuff and hey this game might actually suck? I legit haven't played it since I first got the Trilogy Wii version and played through it but I vaguely remember having issues and YES IT DOES

Btw I beat Metroid Prime 4, it is a game with very obvious issues, but honestly? might be the 2nd best game in the series. People might forget but 2 & 3 also have glaring issues that hold them back, arguably no game in the series is as tightly designed as Metroid Prime 1

A lot of people replying to this about how their retailers don't stock much/any video games. Yeah it's almost as if your lived experience isn't universal! Tons of markets are still primarily physical based, often out of necessity. Some people have no decent internet, have data caps, etc

If you sell a physical game console? You need a space in a physical store. If you do not sell video games beside that console on that store shelf? You lose sales. You lose money. You lose shelf space. You just lose. I don’t believe the console loss leader model can exist without physical games.

I felt my gameplay was sloppy after the @bghof.com stream of Mighty No. 9 tonight so I'm playing off stream to get better and knowing more how the game wants to be played, I dislike it more and it's a pretty physically rough game to play if you have any physical disability in your arms/hands.
