Crazy the degree to which Spotify mishandled this app icon. Your app’s icon is a huge part of your brand, but also how your users find your app on their phone. I have consistently stumbled trying to open Spotify because my brain is looking for the bright green circle. variety.com/2026/digital...

I’ve reached the point in my young iOS dev career where I have to admit all the SwiftUI haters were right. The performance price you pay for all the syntactic sugar catches up to you Wonderful for rapid prototyping and good enough for secondary flows. But the core still needs to be UIKit
