@guynemer.bsky.social I can't remember whether I told you, but I started another playthrough on Disco Elysium last week. Finally broke whatever wall i'd kept hitting, and I finally get it. Did the side mission for the guy on the pier, amd the notification part hit very hard.

Thyssen Krup Elevators more like Scheißen Krap Elevators. If there is a company I currently despise more I can't think of it.
Gonna need even more terms to mute it appears.
Large burrito the size of a large burrito time.

I am not happy this is 30 years old, but this is a damn fantastic list.
the Billboard Modern Rock chart from 30 years ago today — August 3, 1996.
Silly conspiracy i actually believe - Mike Mills will never divulge the lines he was saying on the verses of Harborcoat because he was kind of making them up as he went along and never finalized them.
An early memory when I was a kid maybe about 8 or so, the family stopped there to eat on the way to the aquarium. They had huge cups for iced tea. My mom jumped because she thought my sister was about to spill her tea and im the process knocked mine over on me. Direct hit to the lap and a full glass

Found a thing in Atlanta this morning when we went to the store for Naked and Famous cocktails.
Me: I am a happily married professional¹ with a really cool living space and a lot of hobbies and good restaurants in walking distance and a great kitchen where I love to cook. Also me: Lol Ramen for dinner.
And yes, I get there is a balancing act between the inconvenience for closing off streets for events like this, but part of the reason I chose to live in the city was for fun stuff to go to like this. Or the neighborhood festivals. Or (and it took me a minute to come around) the World Cup.
Guy on a dirtbike just did a jump over an F1 car doing doughnuts and this was a free event in Atlanta.
Well that wound up being fun as hell. Warm, but otherwise perfect weather. I'm sure some of the busybodies will call the tire marks damage on the road, but there were a ton of leople there having a blast. And all the bikes parked everywhere along Hank Aaron and Georgia Ave at least several hundred..

Holy shit this is really cool.
Place is absolutely packed all up and down. Fulton Street. This is really cool and got a nice turnout.
Officer not letting people cross Fulton with their bikes has led to a situation.
Posting up un the Jersey Mike's and housing some iced tea because the only drink trailer is RB theme, and that might kill me in this heat
I have seen several Messi jerseys which is actually perfect for a Red Bull F1 event.
I can't be the only one who was raised to understand that a place setting and unopened food at a table might be a sign it's claimed? And that when I come back with my drink and grab my stuff at the table you sat at that I get the eyeroll?
Okay RB ir not this might be kind of neat. Even if the APD guy insisted that the bike valet I'm staring at didn't exist and made me lock up at a rack by the Publix.
Any Atlanta people going to the ared Bull thing on Hank Aaron? I'll probably be riding over in the next 20 minutes or so.
