Watching X2 now, and it’s so obvious how much of a step-up this is from the first X-Men in every way Nightcrawler at the White House and Logan at the mansion at night is pure comic book nirvana. And Logan Roy as the villain? This movie kicks a metric ton of ass. Easily the best of the OG trilogy
Gonna be an all-time take by me if Marvel casts him as the next Charles Xavier. Would be a perfect choice

Stewart’s Xavier is a fascinating performance Really not all that close to the comic/cartoon version. But he’s fully committed, and he’s a great mirror for McKellen who’s having the time of his life I think the best Professor X is still out there as McAvoy was just doing a great impression

This was my thought process exactly Got a lot of experience, and have one of the easier schedules in the Big 10. They can absolutely win that Michigan game and Penn State on the road. Ideal season to play both those teams

Lots of pickleball passing in 2025. Schedule is sneaky decent, though. Helps a lot to avoid OSU and Oregon, while getting Michigan at home.

I’m a big Cooper Hoffman fan, so I’d very much like him to get big roles But he’d be a horrible Cyclops, and it’s not because of looks. There’s a natural aura comic-accurate Cyclops has. He commands every room and is an obvious leader That’s not Hoffman, who would make a great Beast instead
Think it’s fine not to like Project Hail Mary — or any movie for that matter — hate away! But it’s interesting to call something useless after saying it successfully makes the audience feel good I like when a movie succeeds at it’s mission. Feel-bad films rock too!

I believe this one is obvious — Go with a relative unknown just like when Jackman, Holland and Corenswet were all picked for their roles. A star doesn’t need to do this Good news is that this casting can skew a little bit older then the younger cast they are picking. So they can get creative

Ehhhh, I don’t think Taylor is right for Storm, who is more stoic by nature. Think she’d be much better as Mystique Hard no on Powell as Cylcops solely because of the age gap with Sadie Sink’s Jean Grey. That wouldn’t work at all 😂

To nerd out about the X-Men like everyone else, I really want them to get the Cyclops and Storm castings correct Think it would be pretty easy work to pick Harris Dickinson and Jayme Lawson, but regardless of who gets picked, both need to have a commanding presence
Three biggest positives from Spider-Man Brand New Day: 1. Best Tom Holland performance I've ever seen 2. Bernthal is having the time of his life (his last scene is getting the biggest audience reactions) 3. There's a nighttime rooftop scene between Zendaya and Holland that steals the whole movie
Gotta say, this is shocking I never thought a relatively simple Spider-Man movie would top Endgame, but I was wrong!! Even when everyone knew Maguire and Garfield were in No Way Home, this still blew by it Only explanation is people think this is the Doomsday setup movie and that's....not true!!!

Also, HOW ON EARTH did I not get a Doomsday trailer in front of the new Spider-Man movie???? But sure, lets do the Clayface trailer??? What's going on with Marvel's marketing with this movie???? I've never seen anything like it. At this point, they are actively telling us they don't think it's good
