Senior Scientist at CEAB-CSIC, in Catalonia, Spain. Behavioural ecologist focused on individual heterogeneity in collective behaviour and unravelling how freshwater fish cope with drying.

New paper out just now in @neobiota.pensoft.net, comparing the metabolism and behaviour of the endangered Spanish Toothcarp with that of the invasive Mosquitofish. Great collaborative effort with @michaelmargalef.bsky.social and @garciaberthou.bsky.social

Suddenly I found myself in a comfortable chair, in a recording studio today, talking two hours about fish schooling and collective behaviour! It was an interview for an upcoming documentary film, curious what will be featured and always exciting to talk about this topic!
