🦋 Made from plants that surround the tucked away garden bench where they were worked, a little batch of lavender filled crochet woollen butterflies to safely store away summer things with, their natural colours yielded from botanical dyes of buddleja, elderflower, & lavender...

🧶 A woof & wander for the inaugural wear of the Tidal Treasures Cardigan - stormy blue vintage '60s cat eye buttons were the perfect finishing touch for this knitting project, thank you for the style advice folks! And yep, by the third snap Dave was getting quite heavy indeed...

🐾A Dave update - he's doing so well now, but has had ops in a continuous saga of an unerupted baby fang jaw infection. In the first surgery his heart failed with over 2 mins of him being gone & requiring resuscitation, then insisted on walking himself out after the whole ordeal!

🐌 Hello again lovely folks - there have been gentle days dreaming amidst drifts of bee humming garden clover, the sun soothing us through recovering from our various ailments, so most happy to announce we are tentatively returning with shenanigans of our snail slow living...

🐌Sorry to have worried folks by being absent but was rather suddenly & spectacularly unwell with sepsis complications - struggling to find my feet with this new variety of normal so expect to be offline a bit longer & a huge thank you for the kind well wishes here & in the post!

🧶 In need of a sitting still day so began stitching little flowers on the newly knitted chunky yellow jumper - the wool used has a lovely rustic roughspun feel, lending a folksy style to the embroidered blooms that with a bit more work will become a spring petal wreathed yoke...
