Arsenal Women. Every game. (Happy to help) A mix of thoughtful stuff & silly edits/humour. 👀 Women's football mostly. Music/film/expression

People aren't considering the context of the Arsenal Women preseason loss to Milan, who are much more geared up for the high heat - as their name suggests (Air Conditioning Milan). And, sorry, we just can't be expected to play well without 1000s of fans singing chants for 2 hrs.

Good Summer recruits to strengthen aside, is there an argument Arsenal Women are possibly weaker in defense and attack going into the new season? A CB less with health questions for 3 of 4. Losing Beth/most consistent G+A & clutch wide fwd for a teenager or a CF playing wide?

Although there are some days left to submit, there were no bids put fwd in Spain for the rights to televise the Liga F upcoming season that meet the reserve price - €5m for the bulk, €2m for others - after bidding reopened today Not an ideal scenario, hopefully something works out l1nq.com/aq9djuv

To the travelling AWFC fans out there, with the 18 UWCL 3rd round qualifying teams now set, which teams are you most hoping to go through for a potential European Away Day this season? I think Sociedad/San Sebastian for me, or Servette/Geneva ❤️⚪

Seen some wondering if the UTD Women's player who's already supposedly agreed to a deal next summer for a Top 3 club could be Toone to Arsenal. Other reasons aside, the biggest reason I'd be surprised is Renée wanting virtually all players to offer more versatility. Not sure it fits the wishes.

This Argentina team weirdly feel like the majority of the team are bang average footballers with few brain cells who will just run around like mad for Messi and kick opponents & dive around in the stupidest ways possible that if officiated correctly would be down to 7 most games.

I wonder if a shit and dull 2nd half has anything to do with a shit and dull halftime show they had to wait half an hour for? And was it that shit and dull we can only see this half as shit and full even if it might be slightly better than shit and dull?

I personally think that if you actually like football & care about it, as an artist you decline a lucrative half-time show so as not to be part of spoiling the spectacle for like a billion people. Unless you're just very self-indulgent & self-serving. Shame on all who took part (inc. Ted Lame-o)

Not seen much of him but I kind of feel this Nico González guy wouldn't get in any team but this Argentina team becaause he'll run around like a madman all game for Messi but from everything I've seen his ability is quite minimal & frustrating

In general, don't we all want to see football games like that more than actual super smart, tactical, fairly risk-averse low-scoring cagey ones? I think there's an argument to be made that Sunday League managers should manage International teams and just let the players have fun

Thomas Tuchel feels in a conundrum here: Do I make positive changes to seal the game & prove I'm a top manager? Or Do I let France win it and try to prove that it's the players who just crumble? 🤔🧐

Whilst the pressure and fear in a third-place playoff is kind of not there as shown in England's first half display... At (now) 4-1 & if France get a 2nd soon, that pressure & fear of embarrassment can easily creep back in & it would kind of be fascinating to see how things go!

Again, this French team just aren't arsed to be intense and make any moment difficult for England today, so not worth judging too much. They aren't even close enough to foul & break up the game Of all the top nations they are probably the perfect third-place playoff team to play

That was quite shocking defense from France for Saka's goal, particularly from one individual. The RCB who blocks it 1st, his decision to step out of the blocking line to pick up a ghost & leave Saka a free hit was embarrassing & as bad as it gets at this level, really.

I liked that Declan Rice "liked" some of the Instagram posts about him in the wake of the very limited Souness's comments, and then comes out and does that for his goal as captain. 🍚💫🫡
