Got an early start and am spending the day, and a good part of the night, driving a moving van with my younger son to DC, where he'll be for a while, so I've been off. But it is #InsectThursday, he is driving, and I have a phone pic of a newly emerged cicada drying its wings. #Photography #macro

I decided to do an #AlphabetChallenge post, thought I knew the theme, but wasn't sure. Pro tip: don't do a hashtag search for curves, forgetting the "week c" part. Not a good idea 🫣. Here's a pigeon on a bunch of curves. #WeekCforCurves #birds #photography

The picture is taken up by an old red clay tiled roof. Most of the tiles are aged, but a few have been replaced with newer one. A little left of center is a pigeon, body facing left but head turned back toward the camera. It is multicolored, mostly blue and gray.
