Just a silent witness to the ruin. #KnifeInTheDark #Rock #Music

I would’ve burned the heavens with you Until the last star bled out Is this a dream or the truest Hell? Where have the others gone? The answer tasted like iron on my tongue The blood was on my hands

Did I see this coming? The blade I swore was dead and rusted Snapped awake with savage hunger And tore straight through the temple wall That shielded the wellspring of all life She rose beneath a bloodred moon An empress carved from wrath divine But every word she spoke fell on deaf, rotting ears

It seems like an eternity ago that the original dagger album was a impossible thing for the band to overcome, now we're making a unplugged album with some live tracks. Thanks to everyone that has supported us from the first time we played in the dive bars that helped us get to this point.

Working on finalizing our track list for The Dagger Unplugged, it hits different then our traditional style, I you all will enjoy the slow melodic style of our best songs all unplugged. More details to come follow @knifeinthedark.com for more updates on the album.

Writing songs is like bleeding confessions there is no solace just the blade and it's up to you to grab it by the handle or let it keep fucking your life up. Embracing the shadows does not mean there is no light it means you are strong enough to acknowledge both blade and hilt or light and dark.

The blade is a mirror, reflecting life's loss in a harsh yet beautiful way. It shows us where things used to be, now they've fallen away. We carry it with us, it’s a reminder of our isolation and our enduring pain.
