Long overdue, but I finally watched Get Out. Yes, it's very good! The exec I pitched today mentioned that it was a strong comp for my WIP... and yeah, it definitely is. From general vibe and theme, to some weirdly specific similarities. #filmsky #scriptsky

Ugh... just kinda hit me all at once that I'm gonna be 40 in a month.

I think #TheBoys finale was handled pretty well. Bittersweet seeing it end; this last season did have its ups and downs, but overall a very fun show.

My latest reader called me out on using "weird/weirdly" too much in my script. I believed her, but also thought "well, no one else called this out, it can't be THAT bad". Well, it is that bad. The worst case of me overusing a word in pretty much anything. Ugh! 😅 #scriptsky

After a bit of a holding pattern, I have some new notes to dive into for my latest WIP. The first half-page is labelled "The Good" and the next page and a half is labelled "Things to Consider", so I may have some work ahead of me! 😅 #scriptsky

Been dealing with a bit of a rough week. The skylight in my condo is leaking. Hasn't been too bad til now, but it's supposed to rain tomorrow, so bracing myself. It's being inspected Monday, so just gotta hold through the weekend.
