Taking a horse drawn narrow boat along the Llangollen Canal this afternoon. Such a peaceful experience. The horses are well looked after and treated incredibly well by the brilliant staff who work here. Ours was called Hercules

A night shoot for the next Batman film is taking place here in Runcorn tonight. Snow has been sprayed over the Silver Jubilee Bridge and snow-encrusted vehicles with the Gotham City logo have appeared
Made the mistake of listing my favourite tracks on the Listy app. Thought it would take 10 mins (probably only 20 or 30 songs). Two hours later, I'm still there and I'm into the hundreds. For every track there's 4 others you can't leave out. I may not finish this before I die
It's nice drawing outside except it's too bright to see your source material and with your sunglasses on it's too dark to see your source material, there's bees and wasps...
After watching Messiah of Evil, I searched out a student film by the same director William Hutch. Down These Mean Streets (1966) creaks loudly and is sometimes unintentionally funny. It's very much put together with spit and sellotape but has flashes of visual flare and a strong atmosphere.
Finished watching the film Messiah of Evil (1974). Much about it is terrible but someone behind the scenes must have had an amazing visual sense. Some of the shots are genius.
Drop Anchor South African Cabernet Sauvignon is tonight's tipple. I'm no wine expert but this seemed lovely to me. It was only £3.99 from Aldi so I thought it must be my ignorance. Looked it up though and even experts think it's not bad. You can see how enthusiastic Sheila the cat is in the photo
Watching a creaky old 1974 horror film Messiah of Evil (I know I've watched a lot of stuff tonight but nowadays that's my preferred Friday night) How come all cars in the 70s were hot orange (my favourite colour) and these days they're all dull black, grey or white?
