Soooo tempted to crack out first edition Shadowrun. I'm still waiting for the physical Shadowrun Anarchy 2.0 to become available, but I've had some ideas for this and I want to get going. Shadowrun is a game I played in the day but only GM'd a few times. I should give it a proper go sometime.

This, for me, is the peak of special effects talent. Modelwork, animation, timing, mood, everything. It's pure genius. It's also the reason why skeleton warriors are my favourite foe in any fantasy TTRPG.

We went to Boughton House today, and had a great time walking the grounds and marvelling at the interior. With a nice little cafe and easy access, this is a great way to spend a few hours.

I wasn't a backer so I'll probably have to wait longer, but I really want to get my hands on Shadowrun Anarchy 2.0. I'm a big fan of what Catalyst did with MechWarrior Destiny, and I've been wanting to get back into Shadowrun for a while.

I had a BattleTech short story published in Shrapnel #23 - 'Heirloom'. I've had other ideas since then and I'm going to have another go; one is a sequel to Heirloom, the other is based on a famous battle in the lore. I'm a big BattleTech fan from the FASA days, and the Catalyst stuff is great.
