RE: my avatar pic = photo taken by me, sticker jammed into asphalt by multiple vehicle tires in the parking lot of my pharmacy maybe a week or two after the 2024 election. To me it represents the U.S. hitting rock bottom, for all that may entail.
Sooo, #Substack. Heard about it for decades, just now (don't laugh) coming around to it. Thinking about it as a place to start a blog for personal reasons, for developing some writing skills, maybe get a modicum of audience, etc. Is it copacetic to this the way, say, Blogspot back in the day was?
Anyone being interviewed: if a MAGA type gets in your grill with this nonexistent issue or the equally nonexistent "gender reassignment on kids" one: THEY'RE BAITING YOU, DON'T FALL FOR IT. Call them on their bullshit. Demand data. Don't engage in this "issue" without it.
