Morning from JBR Dubai. Ain Dubai in the background as beach goers head out early to beat the midday sun. 🌇🇦🇪

Abu Dhabi, UAE 🐪 🌴 🇦🇪 Expat fuelled by great coffee ☕️, exceptional beer & wine 🍺 🍷, music 🎧, conversation 🎙️& adventure 🏔️
An indigenous Green Sea turtle is saying hello to me this morning on the Abu Dhabi corniche. Spotted in front of the fish markets. 🐢 🌊🇦🇪 Nature is wonderful, especially nice to see in urban areas.
Early riser reward.. coffee in the empty quarter, Abu Dhabi. 🐪🇦🇪 Liwa is just magic.
Morning #AbuDhabi! Wonderful dusk and twilight scenes here in the capital. 🇦🇪🌆🌉 Go and seize the day 🙌🏼
Off on my morning walk in Abu Dhabi, UAE 🇦🇪 Resisting the urge to run over the grass through the sprinklers with my new duck friends🤣🦆 A decent night sleep with no missile alerts overnight. Heading to a mates place tonight to make woodfired pizza and sink some ice cold tins.

Good morning everyone! Hopefully sense and sensibility prevails this April 1 and people temper the April fools if referencing the region. We’ve already had our fill of foolishness this year from external actors.
People who knock cheddar as a top tier cheese have obviously never had extra mature or vintage cheddar, just that American abomination. Pairing choice between a nice Pinot Grigio or a chilled porter is the tough decision here 😆🤣 🧀
And with rain on the way across most of the Emirates today, I am off to check on the cats on the Abu Dhabi corniche.
Good morning #AbuDhabi 🇦🇪 Rain is on the way 🌧️ A relatively quiet night for us last night, unfortunately that’s not true of all the UAE Emirates. Distance learning has been extended until April 17 and civilian structures received debris overnight according to official accounts.
It’s red wine time! 🍷 It’s @loumirandaestate today. A Barossa treat from South Australia. Absolutely phenomenal 2022 cab sauv from 🇦🇺 Last of its lot here in the UAE 🇦🇪 and the Middle East. Blackberry and cherry, chocolate, clove and vanilla. Starts off buttery too love it
Coffee done. Now it’s time for the daily walk along the corniche in the UAE 🇦🇪 capital Abu Dhabi. Still a lovely vibrant green after the rains…
Good morning from a rainy Abu Dhabi 🇦🇪 A relatively quiet night here in the capital, with only one missile launch/intercept alarm received overnight Today’s plan, coffee, corniche walk, a massive brunch in the Al Maqta'a area, then relaxing with some sport on TV this afternoon
Good evening Ras Al-Khaimah! I’m baaaack! A quick 3 night 4 day trip from AUH. What a wonderful emirate full of mountains, costal towns and endless sunsets. 🙌🏼🇦🇪 #RAK
Always time for a creamy pint of #Guinness and some footy. 17 AED pints for St Paddies.. that’s $4.6 USD or £3.50.. Safe and not going thirsty in Irish Vickers, Abu Dhabi 🇦🇪.
Sunset time in the capital. A calm evening, cool breeze and some clouds are coming in over the Arabian gulf. A serene end to a fairly crazy week. Have a safe evening Abu Dhabi. I hope peace comes sooner rather than later to the region. 🇦🇪
SITREP from the Abu Dhabi corniche.. More people out and about this morning for exercise (even accounting for Ramadan). I caught up with “the boys” yesterday for a feed + pints, bringing some normalcy to the current regional tension.. We sat outside under an umbrella, bliss.
Good morning Abu Dhabi. 🌇🇦🇪 Wild night yesterday (Thursday night) with many missile alerts issued and intercepts occurring. Really hoping for a quieter day today. Stay safe everyone. Look after yourselves and your community.
Good morning Abu Dhabi. 🌇🌁 A cloudy day ahead, hopefully with some rain. A decent night by all accounts, no missile alarms for me in my location. Though interceptions were occurring, I slept through the night and now enjoying a walk on the corniche. Stay vigilant, stay safe
Good morning Abu Dhabi. 🌇 A quieter night comparatively. Working remotely today and for the next few.. Stay safe everyone, keep an eye out for updates from governments or official accounts and adhere to your phones emergency notification messages.
So far it’s been relatively quieter today in Abu Dhabi. I hope it can stay this way.
