I've unclenched my jaw, relaxed my shoulders, taken a deep breath, and, as is typical, I've been drinking plenty of water all day. And everything still sucks. So now what?
One thing I wonder about the Absolute titles is how well they'll carry on if/when the original writers leave. (And another thing I wonder is if DC is doing everything they can to make it worth their while to stay.)

If I had the skills/motivation, I would re-score sex scenes from mainstream movies and TV shows with songs from Jim Wynorski Skinemax movies. Imagine "Girls Like Girls" playing when Rhaenyra and Mysaria were getting it on. Replace "Hallelujah" with "Power of the Pussy" in WATCHMEN.
Names that initially confuse me when people mean someone other than who I think of: Infantino - When they mean the FIFA guy, not Carmine Conan - When they mean O'Brien, not the Barbarian Kirby - When they mean the video game guy, not the King DC - When they mean Washington, not the comics company

i think the only really legitimate policy debate in america is between the far left and center left. i do not recognize conservative policy as a legit alternative.
Just watched a video about the Voice Memo Guy. As far as I'm concerned, what he said is irrelevant: he should be in prison just for sending a "voice memo" at all. (But also, yes, what he said sucked ass.)
Assuming Blanche's confirmation advances to the full Senate, I do wonder which one of my two Democratic Senators will trip over his own dick in the rush to vote to confirm him. History has shown it will definitely be one or the other, but it's possible they both will.

It's better to remember at the last second that the oven rack in a preheated oven is hot than to not remember *at all* but I would prefer to avoid cutting it that close.

As was often the case back then when a lot of the comics I had were just whatever random comics my mom grabbed for me, I had two copies of this. Somehow, I lost both of them, but then one copy randomly turned up a year or two later.

I acknowledge that it's most likely a skill issue, but have Ziploc-type seals gotten worse lately? Not the actual Ziploc products, but other packages that use that style of seal. I have the damnedest time getting the two sides to fit together these days.
Every week without fail: Go to HBO Max. Click on LAST WEEK TONIGHT, which says "New Episode" on it. Brought to a screen that wants me to resume or restart last week's episode and forces me to scroll left to get to the new episoe.
