Quick trip to Splatt Bridge this afternoon between the showers for the Montagu’s Harrier! #GlosBirds

Enjoyed a wander around Portbury Wharf on Sunday morning. Highlights were 5 Little Egrets, a Sparrowhawk, and a couple of bonus Kingfishers at the marina.

Went to stay with some friends near Eastleach this weekend. Perfect timing when the Long-tailed Shrike news went out! Nice to be early for a change!

Spotted Flycatcher eating ants! Court Lake, Frampton, yesterday evening.

A Cattle Egret at Portbury Wharf on Wednesday evening. Also a passing Marsh Harrier and 2 Little Egrets, along with the regulars.

Pleased to see a spotted flycatcher near Stratford hide yesterday evening. First I’ve seen at CVL.

The Squacco Heron at CVL as it headed to Herriotts yesterday evening!
