Released a massive update of my coffee timer app, Single Origin. I wanted to brew the roaster-created recipes available on the Fellow Aiden & xBloom, so I built an app that guides you through every pour, agitation, etc. Since it's built with Expo, it runs on iOS, WatchOS, Android, & Web. 👇

The iOS queue times for Free plan users on @expo.dev were around 4 hours at this time last week. We increased our Mac capacity today. We're seeing <10 min queue times right now. ⚡ Subscribers are seeing 0 min queue times.
This is some real power. I just merged to `main` and my changes deployed to Android, iOS, and the web in ~4min total.
I started working at Expo after seeing a Tweet. Maybe you could too?!

Sometimes people ask me for my opinions about React Native tech and it's basically just this.
We released a product called workflows, a React Native CI/CD, late last year. Heard a *ton* of feedback and there are a lot of new features. Let's dive in: 🗺️ We now display a topologically sorted map of your workflow, so you can see what's in progress, finished, failed, etc.
☺️ Want to run unit tests→build→E2E tests→submit in one place? Try EAS Workflows. expo.dev/eas/workflows

Yo @jim.bsky.social, thanks for the excellent components + design of SRCL. Just gave my personal site a much needed refresh.
Since we stayed home for the holidays, I was able to get a lot of "someday list" stuff done. First up, built these shelves for my workshop. Now I have a joinery-station. Pocket hole jig, screws, bolts, glue, drills, clamps, etc.
Has this been the best year for React Native and Expo ever? It's definitely up there! So much to recap. If you're a bit behind on the latest, this blog will get you up to speed 🏎️

Just turned off Apple Intelligence on all my devices and realized I was better off before. Some realizations: Apple is terrified of results that are unsavory, which means AI generated content is nearly useless. Here I tried to use the Image Playground to create images of me, angry or sad. Baha wat?
Just in time for the holidays: I updated my Scrabble word checker app. 📚 New official dictionaries (all local) 💅 Updated UI and animations 👨💻 SDK 52, expo-sqlite, splash screen, workflows, and more! It's free! It's open source! I hope you don't lose your turn.
