Zapatero supported the bombings on Lybia in February 2011 (he was Spanish PM, PSOE). Pedro Sánchez was publicly backing that position claiming the need to bring democracy to Lybia (and accusing Aznar, previous PM, PP, of friendship with Gaddafi).
