Can't help thinking about this chart from our recent Pallas Data poll. Four out of ten Conservative supporters have a favourable view of Donald Trump. So it's no surprise that Pierre Poilievre is spending little time on Trump in his speech today.
Canadians' impressions of Donald Trump 🥶 - Very Unfavourable - 62% 🔵 - Somewhat Unfavourable - 7% 🟡 - Neither Unfavourable or Favourable - 10% 🟢 - Somewhat Favourable - 9% 💚 - Very Favourable - 10% pallas-data.ca/2025/02/14/p...

I just read Jagmeet Singh's letter. Its ramifications are clear. The NDP will no longer vote with the Liberals, no matter who is leading them. Because Singh won't give a new Liberal leader the benefit of the doubt, the odds of Trudeau resigning right now are lower than yesterday.
You know...the Ontario Liberals could ask Chrystia Freeland to run for them in the next Ontario election.
Americans calling Canadians "Snow Mexicans" is trending on the other platform. No, I'm not making this up.
