Mamoru Hosoda's anime film The Boy and the Beast found new life as a successful stage musical by Gekidan Shiki. The acclaimed theatrical adaptation uses music and stagecraft to resolve the pacing and narrative issues of the 2015 original.

Ok so work team is on a brief cruise this weekend and we stopped in Ensanada, Mexico. Not shocked by the obvious tourist traps and such, but what in the world is the obsession with Chucky the killer doll? Countless little items with his face. Is it like how Goku became a big thing?

You've met "guy who blabs work secrets at a conference" You've met "guy who tells a journalist something incredibly bad is off the record before hearing an agreement" Now meet "guy with a cruise ship balcony room who doesn't realize the dividers do nothing to mask sound."

I think one of the top 3 angriest moments in my entire life was when I went to my pharmacy for a hydroxychloroquine refill I was prescribed years prior for crippling arthritis pain (alongside other meds), and the pharmacist told me she had none to give out after Trump hyped it up.

I don't believe for one second that anime companies ask for questions beforehand for 'ease of translation'. Any competent interpreter will be able to translate a question (about anime, lol) on the fly. It's a convenient excuse, but it's just a PR move to be able to screen for 'undesirable' questions

Dropping an out-of-nowhere reference to Commodore Perry, the US navy officer who did a gunboat diplomacy leading to Japan opening its ports to foreigners, is why 100 Girlfriends rules.
