Show me how good it's gonna get today God. Dear Universe, You have permission to amaze me today. I am a beautiful and blessed being who deserves great things always. I love my life and I am thankful for my life. I am safe and I have everything I need.

Took a visit to my old hood. Lived in the Brightwood neighborhood from 2019-2020. My landlord was a complete kook but this area represents a really good time in my life. Was in school, Mommy was still alive, lived with people I got along with. Looking to reclaim some of that magic.

Was out for my daily walk along the 14th St corridor here in DC today and got pissed off all over again about how they displaced a homeless shelter and pushed homeless people to D.C.'s outskirts just to put up luxury apartments that they named THE MISSION! Capitalism is a brazen motherfucker!

If Sidney Starr is indeed guilty of the charges (and we lean toward believing victims over here especially when the victim is a 14 year old child) she should be held accountable by the law and community. Being transphobic and misgendering her is not said accountability.

Monday August 3, 2026. You gotta get up, get out, get into it, get it on to be strong. If we try, we can fly to a whole 'nother place. All we need is belief and a smile on our face. We can go anywhere we want, any road we decide to take and we're never, never, never too far from tomorrow today

Starting the month off in worship and the word that Rev. Dr. William H. Curtis preached entitled "Dust On My Hands, Steel At My Side" from Nehemiah 4:17 really hit home for me and gave me the hope I needed to keep showing up.
