The more harm Big Tech does the more money it makes. If that is going to change, the federal government’s digital duty of care must allow those who are harmed- whether groups or individuals- to sue for compensation. My column for The Saturday Paper:

According to this report, the Royal Commission is not permitting’lived experience’ witnesses to be cross examined. A lot of their evidence to date has confused antisemitism with hostile political statements. Cross examination would be expected to help distinguish between these concepts.
